Identificación de los principales factores para alcanzar los objetivos requeridos por los Ministros de la Unión Europea.
In March 2007, the European Union Ministers asked Member States to commit to
energy consumption and Green House Gases (GHG) reductions of 20%, as well as a
portion of 20% of renewable energies in their energy production.
The horizon of this “three times 20% objective” is 2020. The underlying assumption
is of course an improved security of energy (and electricity) supplies as well
as a growing European economy with sustained tertiary and industrial employment.
How will Europe achieve these targets? How much will it cost? How can we attain
these goals without jeopordizing the competitiveness of the EU? This Thought Leadership
piece helps you find out.
